Baby Shower Tour, Destination #2 Tyrone, PA

The baby shower tour continued in Tyrone the following weekend. We had a wonderful time with Justin's family relaxing, eating tons of good food and visiting, the Hampton family norm. :-) The shower took place that Saturday, September 27.

Justin's mom was amazing and the hostess with the mostess!! She had the shower at her house and had been cleaning or in the kitchen all week preparing for the event. As per usual, she had made all of my favorites which consisted of her famous dip, macaroni and potato salad!! Yummy!! The place was decorated to the nines and she had ordered the cutest little candle favors that smelled like baby powder. My sister-in-law, Brandi, made adorable little sewn candy covers as favors and the gorgeous diaper cake that served as the centerpiece for the shower!! Everything was perfect and more than I ever could have hoped for!!

The shower had a fantastic turnout and even some of the family from York Haven even made it out! We ate, played games, squealed over the cute baby clothes and enjoyed each other's company! It was such a wonderful party and I truly believe that everyone had a great time.

Justin and I want to again thank mom Hampton, Brandi and all of the family and friends that helped with the prep and cleanup! The shower was amazing and we are so grateful to have so many people in our lives that love and support us! We love you all!

Baby Shower Tour, Destination #1 Pittsburgh, PA

Justin, peanut Hampton and I are super lucky to have such wonderful friends and family!!! We are being spoiled rotten with multiple baby showers, the first taking place in Pittsburgh on Saturday, September 20. It was a perfect weekend, visiting family and celebrating the impending arrival of baby Hampton!

My mom and two best friends, Jess and Yasamin, threw us an amazing shower at my family church. It was decorated to the nines with white table clothes, balloons and flowers. The food spread was delicious and menu was completed with my favorite cake, vanilla, vanilla! It was a gorgeous sunny afternoon and we had a great turnout!! Most of my friends and a lot of family from both sides were in attendance. We visited, played games and were showered with gifts from everyone we love! :-) The shower was a success and everyone had a fantastic time. It was so nice to be able to see and spend time with so many friends and family that we don't get to see often. Thanks to everyone who came and thank you for your generous gifts. We are so grateful!

Justin and I want to again thank my mom, Yasamin, Jess and all of the family and friends that helped with the prep and cleanup! The shower was more than we ever could have hoped for and we are so appreciative to everyone who helped make the special day possible! We love you all!

Family Reunited

It was such an exciting surprise for the family when we found out that Becky would be traveling home to the states for a conference that she was attending in Maryland!! It had been 9 months since that last time she was home and with both of us now pregnant, it was extra special for the whole family to be able to spend quality time together!

We had an amazing weekend together in Pittsburgh! Mom, Becky and I spent the days being productive and shopping for the peanuts. We scored a ton of great finds and got Becky much better prepared for the baby, since the selection in Japan can be challenging to say the least. The girls out and about...shopping and scoring deals, just like the olden days. :-) We spent time with the whole family, Matt and Dad included, and Gram and Aunt Dianne came by for a visit too! The pictures below are from our photo shoot on Sunday right before we left to travel back South. It was so nice to be home with everyone and share in this special time! Two new members will be joining the family by the end of the year and we all couldn't be more excited!!

Becky attended her conference in Maryland the following week, but then I picked her up on Friday to spend the weekend in Virginia with Justin and I. We spent all weekend talking about everything that has been going on in each of our lives, the peanuts and all of our to do list items that we still needed to check off. We ate tons of Mexican food...our favorite, we got pedicures, we shopped till we dropped, we laughed and enviably I cried...like a baby, when I dropped her off. It is so wonderful to spend quality time and share in this adventure with my best friend, but wish she lived closer to share more special times with. It was an AMAZING weekend that I will always remember! The next time we see each other we will both have little peanuts and our lives will forever be changed. Becky, thanks for being my best friend and an amazing sister! I love you!
